What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Testo uses cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) on lightcyan-anteater-926483.hostingersite.com. A cookie is a small text file a website puts on your device. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What we use
| Name or type | Purpose | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (set by our server) | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and carries the security token that protects forms against forgery (CSRF). | Strictly necessary, first party | Until you sign out or close the browser, or a short idle period |
| Bot-protection challenge (on sign-up, login and contact forms, where enabled) | Tells people from automated abuse. It may set or read its own technical identifiers. | Strictly necessary for security, third party | Set by the provider; typically the length of the session |
Cookie choice (site_cc, set by our site) | Remembers your answer to the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page. It stores your choice only, not personal data. | Strictly necessary for the banner to work, first party | Up to 180 days, or until you change your choice |
Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. This is not a cookie, but your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them, which shares your IP address and browser details with Google.
Payments. When you pay, you are sent to, or shown a window from, our payment processor. They may set their own cookies on their pages under their own policies.
What we do not use
We do not currently use advertising, retargeting, social-media tracking or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires.
Your choices
- The cookie banner tells you that we use only essential cookies. If we ever add optional cookies, it will ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
- Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off in the Service because it will not work without them (you could not stay signed in).
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage by clearing "site data". If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date.
